even Machiavelli would blush [UPDATED]
In comments on my blog, dave sewell followed up with this:
UPDATE 2:
In comments on my blog, dave sewell had this to say about the fake dave account, in response to my postings about it (as seen here):
"I do not believe you would be capable of such an act when you constantly claim you AS makes you compulsively honest."and
"I know that the bogus account was not set up by you Jace, it would be in the antithesis of your nature."These acknowledgments are appreciated and i wanted to update this story to reflect the details as they have evolved. i do still wish sewell would say the above comments to flickr and to his photostream audience. The rest of the article is, again, unchanged, because i do not wish to confuse readers or rewrite history. My assumption was incorrect about this situation and i am adding content to indicate that.
UPDATE 1: it has been brought to my attention that the fake dave sewell account was not created by dave sewell. i know who, but i leave it to that person to inform sewell that his ire is misdirected. i'll leave the story as is, below, just with this update. He has not changed his implication that i was the creator of the fake account.
Even though i've avoided reading the continued harassment sewell is dishing out on my blog to myself and those of you who comment in defense of me (thank you), i spend a mere TWO minutes on flickr to check email and find an even more obtuse and idiotic attempt to harass me AND preemptively strike at me USING flickr as his bitch. sigh.
i sent this to flickr, via the email forms they ignore, to do the customary bit of complaining through their preferred portals about this. It is pretty obvious who sewell is implicating in that fake account's "postings." He's a bad liar. My favourite bit is this part, at the bottom of his clever little fiction: "© All rights reserved." No doubt that is his preemptive strike against me doing this:

(you can't copyright this, my dear, sweet, cute dave)
but silly me, i didn't read all the comments before i started typing, so i sent along another note to the delete button at flickr...
And for that special anonymous someone who emailed me on flickr yesterday to tell me that they think sewell has taken over my blog and how it's my own fault, note that ignoring him just makes him more feral and scheming. It's like when the dean at KU told me to just be quiet and let jefferson talk... inaction is just as deadly as the wrong action.
Dave Sewellsays:
rockstro - I agree, I find the people who moan and groan about Flickr and censorship are the people who have clearly overstepped the mark by a mile. The account was deleted within a day so I am pleased. As for your last sentence I could not agree more. but would add use their madness as an excuse . . . and wear it like a badge of honour.

AngelFishSolo has left a new comment on your post "my AS: only real when it's a weapon against me":
Just wanted to follow that up with Sewell's problems. He chooses to involve himself in ways that benefit him and him only. When someone reacts negatively, he reacts without guilt or remorse, demonstrating that his issues are much worse than anything any of us have to deal with.
Can you imagine being such an unfeeling ass? I would rather have all of our issues lumped into one than to be what he is. We all have the opportunity to make the world a better place. He will remain in a dark and desperate life, never knowing true happiness.
LMFAO. My biggest issue with Jace is that he uses his 'illness' as a badge and shield. The people I know who are the most ill make the least noise about it. When people constantly go on about their condition alarm bells start ringing. I worked for the Civil Service for many years and saw people with just about ever illness possible, thus my above statement comes from empirical evidence.
As for being unfeeling that is utterly untrue. I just have negative feelings towards people like Jace who use there condition/illness/whatever to their own convenience.

(i thought his biggest issue with me was that i brought "our" conflict to this blog and he feels justified commenting here. He does seem to have a lot of "biggest issues" against me)
He claims to have worked (not IS WORKING) at the Civil Service for many years... and then complained about his clients there in the same sentence. Fantastical example of blaming the victim and poor customer service skills. Like when jefferson refused to assist a professor because the professor was near blind and anything but demure. sewell does not let up on demonstrating that he's cruel and thoughtless. It's good that he no longer works at Civil Service. My guess is his complete lack of empathy for his clients had something to do with no longer holding that job. Maybe sewell's issues with me run even deeper than i thought. Like with jefferson, this personal problem projection just makes him even more dangerous to me. So, no, i will NOT just lay down and be silent.
"Another way of thinking about the two books is that The Prince was written hastily, in an attempt to secure a job with the new Medici rulers, whereas The Discourses constitute Machiavelli's serious political tract. In this the two books might reasonably be compared to two of Karl Marx's works: the Communist Manifesto was written in a hurry to provide direction in the 1848 uprisings, while Das Kapital is Marx's real political thesis."
